Our people

We’re determined to recruit, develop and retain great people in our business because it’s the right thing to do, and because it allows us to deliver the best possible service to our customers.  Technical skills are important because of the nature of the work we do, but we’re also careful to bring in people with the right positive attitude who share our core values of professionalism, customer first and mutual respect. 


Recruitment and training

Our bespoke induction program provides new team members with a clear development plan. They learn about our company, customers, and standards, supported by regular 1:1 meetings with line managers. Additionally, they have opportunities to receive leadership and management training from our experienced non-exec.



At Firetech, we offer careers, not just jobs, both in the office and on-site. We’re proud that many site team members have been with us long-term. We provide all necessary technical support and promote from within, allowing our people to develop their careers here.



We’re working on our communication too!   We have regular updates with the management team on where our strategy’s taking us, and these will be rolled out to the site teams too, so every member in our team knows how their role contributes to the development of the business, and what future opportunities there might be for them to progress.
